1. go + 동사원형 : 가서 ~하다

Let's go get a drink.

This can wait. Let's go get a drink.

Can it wait?(그것 이따 해야되?)

Lex, you should be resting. This can wait.

2. go 는 '진행하다'란 의미

How did it go? (하우릿 고우- 버터 발음)

They both went well. too well.

It didn't go well.

*  go의 짝꿍 표현

go over : ~을 꼼꼼이 보다/거듭 살피다.

look over ( 쓱 훓어보다) < go over(거듭 살피다) < go through(강조 ~ 거듭 살피다/검토하다)

- look over는 대충/쓱 보는것

영영사전의 의미: You examine it quite quickly in order to get a general idea of what it is like.

우리가 누군가에게 뭐좀 첨삼해 달라고 할때, look over

1) go over : 거듭 살펴보다

영영 사전의 의미: If you go voer a ducument or problem, you examine, discuss, or think about it very carefully.

*quick 를 쓰면 시간상 빠르게 하는걸 강조, fast 는 움직임이 빠른걸 강조

We went over that yesterday. 같은 질문을 또해서 짜증 날때 많이 쎠요.

*detail 은 세부사항이란 뜻, 꼼꼼한게 아님

thorough: 꼼꼼한

thoroughly(떠로우리): 꼼꼼하게/철두철미하게

형용사로 thorough 를 쓰면 '꼼꼼한'

And yes, I'm thorough.  그래 나 꼼꼼해

2) go through : (강조) 거듭 살펴보다, (주로 안 좋은 일을 ) 겪다, 승인/통과 되다.

영영 사전 의미-승인/통과되다 ' to be approved or accepted'

'겪다'의 go through

2. 힘든 일을 겪고 있을때: She's going through a lot.

(go through는 '진짜 꼼꼼히 거듭 검토하고 살펴볼때', 'to be approved or accepted'란 의미-승인/통과된다)

*go with ~와 함꼐 가다, (선택할때)~로 정하다
