as long as ( ~하는 한) vs. unless ( ~ 하지 않는 한)

As long as: ~하는 한

*단순히 가정할때도 쓰는 if 와는 달리 as long as   는 어느 정도 그렇게 될거라는 예상을 할때 씀

As long as you're happy, I'm happy.

As long as you're okay ( with it), I'm okay (with it).

As long as I shopw up for work every day, they have to pay me.

*show up (예정된 장소에) 나타나다/얼굴을 비추다.

* 사전: arrive or turn up for an appointment or gathering

She showed up late.

She showed up on time.
