1. Mrs. /Ms. /Miss 호칭정리

40대 중반이 멍은 여성분에게는  Mrs.? No. It's not Mrs. It's Ms.

You must be Ms. Wetton.

first- name basis  호칭없이 친근하게 서로의 이름을 부르는 사이

Miss (미 ㅆ) : use "Miss" when addressing young girls and wonmen under 30 that are unmarried

그러나, 상대와 자주 연락을 주고 받는 것도 아니고, 아직 한번도 직접 만난적이 없는 비지니스 이 메일 에선 Ms.

그러나 보편적이지만 '친근한 디업 문화에선 그냥 seul  이라고 부르기도 합니다.

Ms.(미 ㅈ):  use "Ms." when you are not sure of a woman's marital status, if the woman is unmarried and over 30 or if she prefers being addressed with a marital-status neutral title.

Mrs.: Use "Mrs." when addressing a married woman.

일단  Ms.  로 부르고 상대가 고쳐주면 Mrs.  라고 하면 돼요. 이땐 전혀 무례한 게 아닙니다.

 

남자분들은 Mr.

 

Sir- 은 남성분에게 격식을 갖쳐 말할때 쓰는 표현

ma'am- 은 여성분을 존중해 주는 표현이지만 정말 젊은 분께는 Miss 씁니다.

2. 상대가 피곤해 보일땐 You look tired.를 쓸려면 정말 가까운 사이에서만 써야 해요.

3. 자칫 성의 없게 들릴수 있는  I don't care. 말투에따하 귀찮아서 대충 말하거나 짜증 내는 것처럼 보일수 있어요.

아무거나 괜찮다고 할땐  anything it doesn't matter to me.

I don't care 가 관심 없다는 느낌이라면 It doesn;t matter 는 뭘 먹든 그게 내게 중요하진 않다는 느낌
