1. 구직자 : job seeker? -job seeker는 내 자신에게는 잘 쓰지 않아요.
대신 통계 수치나 누군가를 '구직자' 라고 언급해야 할때 써요.
ex) There are a lot of job seeker tools.
내가 구직중일때는 job seeker 보다 I'm looking for a job 이 더 자연스러워요.
경력직이면, I'm in between jobs.
ex) So, what do you do for a living?
Um, Ramdall's in between jobs.
ex) What do you do for a living? 이 What's your job? 보다 더 자주 쓰여요. (하시는 일이 어떻게 되세요?)
I'm in between jobs at the monent.
* at the monent: 지금 이순간/지금 현재
2. 명함은 name card? -name card 는 세미나또는 행사에 참석하면, 옷에 거는 이름표/ 명찰이란 의미로 더 자주 쓰이기에 '사업용 명함' 은 business card 가 더 정확해요.
ex) Here's my card.
Can I have your card?

3. (식당, 카페등에서) 이건 서비스 입니다.= this is service?
서비스로 뭔가를 줄때 자주 쓰는것
It's on us= It's on the house.
마치 그 가격의 짐은 우리가 가지고 (on) 가겠다는 느낌
ex) -on us.
oh. no, thank you.
~on me.(그건 제가 쏠게요)
*연관 표현: ~ is my treat. (그건 제가 대접할꼐요.)

* technically (따지고 보면) 어린 '강아지'는 puppy네요.

*명사 + person(~를 선호하는/좋아하는 사람)

Actually, I'm more of a cat person.
둘중 하나를 더 좋아 한다고 할땐, I'm more of a ____ person. (전 ~를 더 좋아해요.)

또는 단순히 안 좋아한다고 할땐,

일상 회화에선 take a leave of absence 보다 take 시간 off (휴학하다/휴가흫 내다)
