이번 추수감사절은 토론토에서 보냈다. (We visited at Toronto, Canada for Thanksgiving.)
이번 추수감사절은 토론토를 놀려 가기로 했다.
(We've decided to visit Toronto on Thanksgiving day.)
Kipling station south parking lot 까지 운전하고 주차후 전철을 사용하기로 했다.
(We parked at Kipling station south parking lot, and decided to ride subway station.)
주차비는 캐나다 달러로 6불이다.
(The parking fee is 6 dollars with Canadian currency)
신용카드나 모바일을 사용해도 되나, 우리처럼 미국에서 오는 사람은 현금인 동전이 최고다.
(Some people can use credit card or moble app, however, we used coin to pay for.)

subway station 를 이용하여 먼저 필리핀노 음식점인 Tinuno Restaurant 에 갔다.
(We went to Tinuno Restaurant at first by subway.)
사실 작은 가게이다. 그러나 찾기는 쉽다. sherbourne 역에서 2-3 분 거리다.
(This restaurant is small, but you can find it easily.
You need to stop Sherbourne station and walk 2-3 mins to go there.)
아래 그림은 Kamayan feast 이고, 2인분 사진이고, 일인당 금액은 15불이다.
(Below phto is Kamayan feast for two persons, the price is 15 dollars for each person.)
손으로 음식을 집어 먹는것이 색다른 경험이었다.
(We used our hands to eat, it was fun experience.)
우리는 아침 11시 정도에 일찍 도착에서 기다림 없이 바로 시켜 먹었다.
(We ordered without waiting list becasue we arrived before 11 AM.)
점심때나 저녁때는 예약을 안 하면 많이 기다려야 한다고 한다.
(We've heard we have to wait a lot to get the seat.)

그후 AGO (Art Gallery of Ontario) 에 가서 아트를 감상했다.
(After eating, we went to Art Gallery of Ontario.)
아래 사진들은 AGO 에 있는 몇몇 작품을 사진 찍어서 올려 본다.

이번에 early Rubens 전시회를 보게 되었는데, 죽음을 소재로 유럽중세시대때 그림을 그린 것들이다.
그림 자체는 좋았지만, 소재가 죽음이라 좀 그랬는데,
4층과 5층에서 전시하는 contemporary 작품 역시 죽음을 주제로 컴퓨터 그래픽을 이용하여 만든 작품을 보니,
다시 한번 마음이 잠시 우울해졌다.
( We had a chance to see the exhibition of Early Rubens. Most of his paintings are about death at the middle age of Europe.
The painting itself was great. however, I did not like the topic, death.
When we went to see comtemporary art, we noticed they also used the same topic, death with computer laser graph.
I felt sad again.)
시간이 좀 여유가 있다면, 좀더 많은 시간을 감상해도 좋을듯하다.
(If you have free time to see more, I highly recommand to spend time this place to see art.)
어른은 입장료가 25불이고, 25 세 이하 공짜다.
( the fee adult is 25 dollars, and under 25 years old is free addmission.)

AGO 가 있는 곳이 바로 China town 이라 bubble tea 를 먹기로 하고 근처에서 평점 좋은데를 갔는데,
가격대비 그냥 그랬다.
( After watched AGO, we was looking for bubble tea place becasue AGO is in china town. Bubble tea was okay.)
다시 전철 따고 Kipling station 가서 차 픽업후 미시가와근처에있는 한국 수퍼 겔러리아에 갔다,
(We returned Kipling station to pick up our car, and headed to korean supermarket galleria in Missigawa.)
미국은 Thanksgiving day 라 쉬는날인데, 캐나다는 thanksgiving day 가 10월 이란다.
(Today isfor US Thanksgiving day but for Canada. I realized Canada has different day of Thanksgiving day.)
그래서 오늘은 캐나디언들은 일하는 날이다.
(Tooday is the normal day for Canadian.)
퇴근길이라 그런지..., 갤러리아까지 가는데 차가 무지 막혔다.
(it was returning time from work to home. so, it had heavy traffic to reach korean supermarket.)
아무튼 갤러리아 와서 간단히 시장보고, 감자탕이라 짜장 먹고 저녁 운전하면 하면서 천천히 집에 왔다.
(Anyway, we went to shop for grocery, and eat the stew and noddle, back to home.)

오는길에 갑자기 나이아가라 폭포 근처 야경 보려 가면 좋겠다는 생각이 들어 들렸더니,
아니나 다를까, 크리스마스 장식에 폭포 야경까지 좋았다.
(We wanted to see Niagara fall night view, so went to see. it was great. there are Christmas decorations and light.)
그러나 제대로 사진을 찍지 못했다. 다들 지쳐서 집에 가고 싶어 하고, 밖이 추워 차 밖으로 나가는 것을 싫어 했다.
차 안이었지만 호텔 야경이랑 폭포를 보니, 좋았다.
( We could not have a good picture becasue it was cold and tired, however, it was good to see this inside car.)
국경을 넘어 오는 길에 살짝 긴장을 했지만, 이번 사람은 그냥 술 가지고 온것 있는지만 물었다.
물론 술은 사지도 않았지만..
(We were nerous when we were passing the border, however, the officer just asked if we bring the acohol.)
오늘은 우리 가족만의 thanksgiving day 를 잘 계획 세워 보낸것 같아 본인의 어깨가 뿌듯하다.
(We were so happy to spend a good time with family on Thanksgiving day.)
