1. jump into 뛰어들다, (서둘러) 본격적으로 시작하다.

사전 : to become involved in a situation very quickly.

2. go over:  검토하다, 짚고 넘어가다

사전:  to examine or look at something in a careful or detailed way

* We have a lot to go over today. 오늘 다뤄야 할/ 짚고 넘어가야 할 내용이 정말 많아

* Pay attention , Class, We have a lot to go over.

* I'm gonna talk pretty fast because I have  go over.

*I'd like to go voer the specifics first. 우선 세부 사항들부터 짚고 넘어가고 싶어요/ 면저 검토해 보고 싶어요.

3. I saw this coming.  이렇게 될줄 알았어

 I didn't see this coming.   이렇게 될줄 몰랐어

사전:  see something coming to expect something to happen.

I should have seen this coming.  내가 이렇게 될 줄 알았어야 했는데.

No one could have seen this coming. 그 누구도 이렇게 될줄 물랐을 거라며 위로할때

* How could you not see this coming? 어떻게 일이 이렇게까지 될거란 걸 몰랐던 거야?

saw (소-) vs. sew(소우)

You sew this coming.

Yeah, everyone saw this coming.

 

4. time frame  (어떤 일에 쓸 수 있는, 쓰이는) 시간, 기간의 범위

사전:  a period of otime especially with respect to some action or prokect

전체적인 기간 (틀)은  time frame  구체적으로 언제 뭔가 일어나는 시간 순으로 말해 주는 것  timeline

 특정일에 어느 정도의 시간을 쓸 수 있는지 시작부터 끝까지 얼마나 걸리는건지 물어 볼때 GIve me a time frame.

Give me a time frame.

6 months at the earliest.

* at the earliest :  빨라도

* at the latest : 늦어도

5.  동료/ 상사/지인이 흔쾌히 나를 도와준다고 할때

6. Put me in contact/touch with~(특히 비즈니스상 다른 사람과 연결/ 소개 시켜 줄때) ~ 와 연락이 닿도록 해 주다.

연락처를 공유해도 괜찮은지 물어 볼땐:  Is it okay if I give them your number?

 

7. I'm counting on you.  (계획대로 따라 줄거라고 기대하고) 너/너희만 믿어

사전:  count on : to depend on someone or expect someting

< 구체적으로 ~ 해 줄거라고 믿어도 되는지 물을때>  Can I count on you to say nice things about  me?

* You can count on me.  날 빋어도 돼/ 내가 의지해도 돼

 * You can count on me. Sir.

You can't count on anyone.

Count me in :  나도 껴줘/ 나도 할께

Count me out : 난 빼둬. / 난 안할께
