gonna vs. gotta

gonna( = going to): 특정 행동을 진행 예정

gotta ( have to = have got to = gotta) : 특정 행동을 해야 할 의무가 있음

- I'm gonna go. = I am going to go.  난 가볼께

- So, I'm gonna go, but I'll be back tomorrow.

- I gotta go. I'll call you later.

캐주얼한 대화에선 gotta 를 써도 되지만, 격식을 차린 상황에선 have got to 또는 have to 를 써야 해요.

구어체에선 gotta 가 자주 쓰이니 일단 gotta 로 연습해 볼께요.

gotta=have got to=have to ~해야해

=I have got to run some errands.

=I have to run some errands. 니일 좀 봐야해/나 볼일이 좀 있어

*errand(잡일)- something you have to do or short trip that usually just takes a little time.

-I gotta run some errands.

-I gotta run an errand.

-I have to run an errand first.

-Do you wanna come with?

-I have to run a quick errand.

-You gotta tick to the plan.= You have got to stick to the plan.=You have to stick to the plan.

계획대로 해야되

-Right now, tonight, we have to stick to theplan.

stick to it. =Stick with it. (힘들더라도 딱 붙어서) 버터/견더

-I know you're scared, but you gotta stick with it.

-I gotta submist this report by EOB today.

=I have to got to submit this report by EOB today.

=I have to submit this report by EOB today.

EOB= End of Business(day)

회사나 지역마다 업무 종료시간이 다르기에 정확한 시간을 알려주는 걸 추천하지만, 이

메일에서 자주쓰이는 EOB 의 의미도 알아두세요.

- offer expires end of business day.

-I gotta say~=I have got to say~=I have to say~ ~라는걸 꼭 말해야 겠어

- I gotta say, technically, I didn't even do anything wrong.

이말은 꼭 해야겠는데, 따지고 보면, 나 잘못한거 하나도 없거든

*make: (힘들더라도 어떻게든) 해내다/되다.

expecting: 출산예정

-I gotta got 동사원형: 나가서 ~해야되

-I gotta go.  나 가봐야해

*전화를 끊을때 자주 쓰여요.

- I really gotta go. I'm late.

- I gotta go + 동사원형 나 가서~해야해

-I gotta go study English.

-I gotta go lick up my kids.

1) gotta=have(got) to의 줄임말로 ~해야해 란 의미

2) 구어체/캐주얼한 상황에선 gotta  를 써도 되지만, 격식을 차린 상황에선 have got to,

특히 문어체에서는  have to 를 선호함

3) 특정 행동을 할 예정으로 gonna(going to)

I gotta run some errands.

=I have got to run some reeands.

=I have to run some reeands.

*run an errand 도 괜찮음

I gotta run.

run: to go quickly or in a hurry

ex) Sorrym something's come up, and I gotta run.
