영어공부 33탄 ( 회의 중에 쓰는 표현들)

1. Thank you for taking time out of (아우럽) your busy schedule (스께줄).

Thank you for coming.  도 많이 쓰이지만, 늘 쓰는 표현들만 쓰지 말고 다양하게 써 주셔요.

2. Let me~ 보다 정중한 

- Allow me to introduce myself.

- Please allow mw to introduce myself.

 

3. Before we go any further,  더 나아가기전에 면저, 본론으로 들어가기 전에 우선, 

ex) Before we go any further, please allow mw to introduce myself.

4. But enough about me, 제 애기는 그만하고, 

But enough about~ ~ 이야기는 이걸로 충분한것 같고,

But enough about me, today we'll be discussing ~

5. Walk 사람 through : 절차나 과정을 차근차근 설명할때,

이해의 과정을 마치 손을 잡고 걸어가듯 차근차근 꼼꼼히 설명하는 느낌

Let me walk you through this. 내가 차근차근 설명해 줄꼐

Could you walk me through this?

내가 설명해 줄땐: Let me walk you through this.

설명해 달라고 할때: Could you walk me through this?

 

6. come up with (전략, 해결책 아이디어, 예산 등을) 마련하다 ( 결국 문제를 해결하기 위해서죠), 찾아내다.

come up with idea/plan/solution/strategy/rent/budget/money

I came up with a creative olution.

7. iron out : solve 보다 해결후 만족도까지 나타내는 iron out (문제점, 오해 등을 명괘히) 해소하다/해결하다

Iron out the details.

ex) We'll iron out the details when I came over later.

There are still a few small details. We'd like to iron out before...

Iron out= to get rid of any problems or difficulties = strighten out
